Since going live with the INSIGHT Academy in August 2022, we have hosted 42 training sessions to over 400 people across multiple organizations in Stoke-on-Trent as well as members of the public and volunteers. Covering such things as motivational interviewing, mental health first aid, benefits and housing applications and various mental health and substance misuse courses.
A number of the courses we hosted, we’re pleased to say, were fully booked in a short amount of time which is why we booked multiples of theses sessions as well as new follow up sessions based on feedback, such as conflict resolutions, 2-day core drugs awareness and more in-depth housing applications to name a few.
We are in talks with Stoke-on-Trent Council and other organisations to deliver bespoke training sessions this year to cater for specific needs as well as putting on private training sessions for any organisation supporting people with enough staff to fill a training room.
