We’re pleased to announce that the InVOLved partnership, led by Expert Citizens CIC and VAST, has secured £600,000 funding over three years via MHCLG’s Ending Homelessness in Communities Fund to support people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage in Stoke-on-Trent.
Building on successful pilot activity funded through Stoke-on-Trent City Council, InVOLved combines lived experience leadership, community engagement, skills development, micro-volunteering, and partnership working to help people build confidence, strengthen social connections, and progress towards greater independence.
This investment is also an opportunity to strengthen collaboration across the city, supporting community venues, Welcoming Spaces, voluntary organisations, and homelessness services to work together in more connected and preventative ways.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the development of InVOLved so far. We look forward to working with existing and new partners over the next three years to maximise the impact of this investment.
